Synopsis:

Wolf is naïve to the evils of the Third Reich, while Liesel isn't. Despite their political differences, they fall in love. After Wolf is conscripted into the Wehrmacht, they are torn apart by war. Faith and hope are good things to hold onto in times of war, but sometimes, it's not enough.
